Assembly is Back

Last week, Gilbert Ward held the first Pathway Assemblies of the year. It was a fantastic celebration of hard work this half term.

They were able to give out a whopping 42 certificates for 100% attendance that week, as well as 15 SURE Awards for behaviours demonstrating Self Awareness, Understanding, Responsibility and Empathy. The pupils left the hall to the sounds of disco classics to get them moving for the morning.

Next week's assembly playlists will be chosen by Rory and Carter, two of the lucky award winners. After assembly, Francesca and Abby visited classes to give out SURE Coupons to the award winners, which pupils have enjoyed spending this week on things like tuck shop, extra curricular activities and social opportunities.

Well done to all award winners!
