Engage Pathway
The Engage Pathway lead is Matt

Our Engage pathway is:
-
for pupils who have significant anxieties that prevent them from accessing adult directed learning. Pupils with most complex SEMH needs
-
planned by the pathway teacher
-
sequenced linked to themes, to expose students to a rich variety of stimuli and provide opportunities for lateral progress and over-learning.
-
delivered through a static class based approach with minimal transitions and a stable, static, core staffing team to build robust and consistent relationships. The delivery of the curriculum includes a blend of specialist interventions and engaging and motivating experiences and experiences adapted and enriched through the practical delivery. Core subjects and PSHE are delivered discretely, with a focus on interest led learning. On the Engage pathway we have a strong focus on communication and emotional literacy
-
assessed using individual EHCP targets, iASEND and a bespoke combination of frameworks chosen to best reflect the progress of each learner.
