Integrate Pathway
Integrate Pathway Team: Paula & Dom
Within the Integrate pathway, pupils work within the @home, @AP or the @GWA groups, depending on their individual needs and education package. These packages are completely bespoke in order to meet pupil needs, but all aim to build resilience, attendance and improve educational outcomes.
@Home
For pupils who are not yet ready to access a school environment and need the safety of home to build relationships with our staff. Staff deliver low demand learning activities within the home or in the community working directly with the young person.
@AP
For pupils who struggle with the school's size, pace, and expectations and need a bespoke offer strongly aligned to their interests or aspirations.
@GWA
For pupils who can access activities on a 1:1 basis for short periods of time. These are based on the school site within the hub to offer consistency and a stepped approach to join the pupil's pertinent pathway.
Our Integrate pathway is:
- for pupils who need a bespoke, highly individualised curriculum offer which gradually increases over time with the intention to be in school full time.
- planned by HLTA's, class teachers and senior leaders.
- sequenced to core curriculum themes, to expose students to a rich variety of stimuli and provide opportunities for lateral progress and over-learning.
- delivered through a 1:1 approach with minimal transitions and a core staff team to provide familiarity and build consistent relationships. This can be within the home, designated AP or in our dedicated space in school.
- assessed using individual EHCP targets using individual EHCP targets, iASEND and a bespoke combination of frameworks chosen to best reflect the progress of each learner.
