The pupils demonstrated impressive focus and creativity as they made Viennese whirls from scratch, carefully weighing ingredients and mastering each stage of the baking process. A key focus of the lesson was developing piping skills, with pupils practising control and consistency to create the classic light, swirled/finger biscuit shape.

Through this hands-on experience, they built confidence in using piping bags and refined their techniques to achieve good results. The session concluded with the assembly of the delicate biscuits, sandwiched together with their choice of sweet filling, showcasing their technical ability.
