Using Labour Saving Devices in the Food Room

As part of Asdan FoodWise, KS4 pupils have been making use of labour saving appliances and devices to demonstrate practical skills when preparing, cooking and serving a variety of dishes.

This includes a hand blender for tomato soup, microwave for mug cake and omelette, macaroni cheese, chicken parmo, blender for smoothies, electric chopper for biscuit base for cheesecake, dates for sticky toffee pudding, and an electric hand whisk for cakes.
