EV Chargers Now Available

Gilbert Ward Academy is excited to share that the new Electric Vehicle (EV) chargers are now active and available for use at the premises. This seeks to line with the Trust's sustainability action plan, by aiming to reduce fossil fuel use through petrol and use a more renewable and sustainable source of energy.

To make charging convenient and fair, the Trust has set up specific pricing for staff and visitors in line with the Trust’s EV Charging Policy.

How it works:

• The chargers use the Monta App 

• The charging portal currently operates on an invite-only basis

• The Admin Team at GWA will invite members to ensure everyone is added to the correct pricing group (staff or visitor).

Staff will be able to charge their car throughout the day, making it convenient and practical.
