Key Stage 4 Pupils Celebrate Football Triumph

Gilbert Ward Academy’s Year 10 and 11 football team delivered an outstanding performance at the Wanderer's Tournament held at the Northumberland Football Association grounds in Wallsend. Competing in a series of 10 matches, the team showcased skill, teamwork, and determination, winning an impressive nine out of ten games.

The tournament was a thrilling display of attacking football, with the Gilbert Ward squad scoring a remarkable number of goals. Star players Kaiser and Calen led the charge, each scoring 10 goals throughout the day. Taylor added to the tally with 5 goals, while McKenzie contributed 4, rounding off a dominant offensive effort.
