Computing (Foundation Subject)

Return to Subjects

Computing is a subject that helps pupils develop their digital literacy, computational thinking, and creativity skills. Pupils study how computers and computer systems work, how they are designed and programmed, and how they can be used safely and responsibly. Pupils also learn to use a range of software applications and programming languages to create digital products, such as games, animations, websites, and apps. Pupils are assessed on their practical skills and understanding of computing concepts at each key stage.
